This is a really fun trip, a very thrilling week, an impressive task.
There are a lot of things that I can get this week. Through a given task, lots of new knowledge and experiences that can be applied within the scope of the teaching, especially English. This way will be my first step in learning webskills for teaching successfully through learning objectives are highly effective for students to get a good achievement in the class.
What is your favorite search engine? How many search engines do you know?
This is my first task at the beginning of the second week. The questions above led to my trip in completing the first task given by Donna, our awesome instructor of the yellow group. What a surprise when I found dozens and even hundreds of search engines on the Internet starting from the given instruction to visit the site noodletools which is as the material that will be used in the discussion of yellow group in nicenet. I usually use google and bing to find anything I need from the internet (mostly yellow group members use google, I guess). But now I realize that there are some search engines that are available and useful for specific topics. I will find some more and use them to add my resources in my teaching process.“It’s not about the tools, it’s using the tools to facilitate learning”
A quote of Andrew Churces above, in Bloom's Digital Taxonomy, has a very deep meening. we don't focus on the tools, but on how we use and improve it in teaching and in student's learning. This is the second weekly assignment that I should learn and apply which is writing learning objectives. Readings and resources are helpful in writing learning objective, especially for A.B.C.D method that stands for Audience, Behavior, Condition, and Degree. To be honest I have to say this is a quite helpful and effective method for me to design the lesson for the students and evaluate the results of the study. I highly suggest this to be a tool for creating learning objectives. After reading some articles and making the ABCD objectives for my class, I posted it in nicenet, our discussion workstation. The last assignment, not at least, is describing a class of each member of the group which depends on what we have discussed before. Sharing the experience and knowledge for the success of students is very superb. I'm very excited to be in this group. Those are the tasks that I've been working on and finishing this week. There are so many things that I have to learn in teaching. I really hope that what I've got can be applied and be useful for my students.
